SUPREMACY: FOUR PATHS TO POWER CHOSEN AS INDEPENDENT GAME FESTIVAL FINALIST
Supremacy: Four Paths To Power, developed by Black Hammer Game and to be published by Matrix Games in January 2005, has been honored as one of ten finalists in this year's Independent Game Festival. Facing tough competition from over eighty other competitors, Supremacy's crisp graphics, deep strategic gameplay and robust technical polish easily secured it a place in the final ten. Black Hammer has great hopes for even more accolates for the title following this March's IGF judging
Gametunnel.com, granted a preview of the game, says "Supremacy: FPTP is one of the games that I've enjoyed most out of the 2005 IGF games. The game has the look and feel of a game that will take hours to play, but the building and expansion segments of the game have been streamlined and simplified so that you get to spend most of your time focused on the battle portions of the game. The graphics and sound are top notch in Supremacy, which makes for a game with few holes in its armour."
The Independent Game Festival is an event aimed to recognize innovation in games not designed by major publishers. Previous winners have included Shattered Galaxy, Tread Marks and Fire And Darkness.
